Lincopremix

Properties:
Lincomycin is a lincosamides antibiotic produced by Streptomyces lincolensis. Lincomycin is bacteriostatic in action inhibiting the protein synthesis predominantly by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunits of bacteria.
Lincomycin is active against:
Wide range of Gram-positive bacteria, such as staphylococci, streptococci, and anaerobic bacteria, such as clostridia spp.

Indications:
Broiler chickens:
For treatment of necrotic enteritis caused by: Clostridium perfringens.
Dosage & Route of administration:
Route of administration: Orally via feed.
For whole product:
Broiler chicken
20 – 40 gm Lincopremix per ton of complete feed, for 7 days.
Warning& Precaution:
Must be thoroughly mixed in the feed before use.
Store open bags in a dry place to avoid caking.
Contra – Indication:
Administration in animal feed other than broiler chicken may result in adverse gastrointestinal effects.
Side Effects:
Not reported in the target species.
Lincomycin has a good margin of safety.
