Presentation:

Norofloxacin is belonged to Fluoroquinolone group. Fluoroquinolone are bactericidal by inhibiting microbial DNA gyrase enzyme, and are active against a wide range of Gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, E.coli, Salmonella and Klebsiella spp., and also against some Gram-positive micro-organisms including staphylococcus aures and Mycoplasma spp.

Composition:

Each one ml contains: Norfloxacin 100 mg.

Target species:

Broiler chicken.

Indications:

For treatment of: Colibacillosis caused by E.coli. Chronic respiratory disease caused by Mycoplasma spp.

Dosage & Route of administration:

Route of administration: Orally via drinking water. For whole product: 2 ml Noropharma / litre of drinking water per day for 3 days.

Warning& Precaution:

• It is recommended to apply bacteriological sampling and sensitivity testing.

• It is recommended to apply bacteriological sampling and sensitivity testing.

• Use of the product deviating from instructions given in the insert leaflet can increase the bacterial resistant to Norfloxacin and decrease the effectiveness of treatment. 

Contra – Indication:

• Not for use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.

• Not for use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.

• Restrict water for 2 hours before administration of the drug.

Side Effects:

Not reported in normal dose. The use of fluoroquinolones during the growth phase combined with a marked and prolonged increase in the intake of drinking water, and hence active ingredient, possibly due to high temperatures, may potentially be associated with damage of the articular cartilage.

Withdrawal time:

7 days.

Stored at temperature not exceed 30 C˚.
