Plasmacure 78.5%

Presentation:

Plasmacure78.5% contain Tylosin, which is belonged to macrolide antibiotic producing its bacteriostatic effect by binding to 50s ribosomal subunit resulting in inhibtion of bacterial protein synthesis. Tylosin is effective against gram positive bacteria such as mycoplasma and against gram negative bacteria such as Pasteurella spp.

Composition:

Each one gram contain: Tylosin tartrate 850 mg. Eq.to Tylosin base 785.6 mg.

Indications:

For treatment of:For treatment of:• CRD (chronic respiratory disease) caused by mycoplasma spp• Fowl cholera caused by Pasteurella spp• Infectious Coryza caused by Haemophilus paragallinarum 

Dosage & Route of administration:

Route of administration: orally via drinking water. For whole product: 1 gm Plasmacure78.5%/ 1.5 liter of drinking water for 3-5 days.

Warning& Precaution:

Under-dosing and/or treating for an insufficient length of time are considered to promote the development of resistance in bacteria and should be avoided.• Under-dosing and/or treating for an insufficient length of time are considered to promote the development of resistance in bacteria and should be avoided.• Sufficient access to the system of water supply should be available for the animals to be treated to ensure adequate water consumption.

Contra – Indication:

Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to tylosin or other macrolides.• Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to tylosin or other macrolides.• Do not use in cases of known resistance to tylosin or cross-resistance to other macrolides (MLS-resistance).• Do not use in animals vaccinated with tylosin-sensitive vaccines either at the same time or within 1 week previously.

Side Effects:

There is no evidence of tylosin toxicity in chickens when administered orally at up to three times the recommended dose.
