Tylvalocure 5%

Presentation:

Tylvalosin is a macrolide antibiotic, which produce its bacteriostatic activity by interfering with bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50s ribosomal subunit. Tylvalosin has antibacterial activity against gram positive bacteria such as streptococci, staphylococci and mycoplasmal and gram negative bacteria such as Pasteurella spp.

Composition:

Each one gram contains: Tylvalosin tartrate 50 mg. Eq. to Tylvalosin base 42.5 mg.

Broiler chicken

Indications:

Broiler chicken: Tylvalocure is indicated for prevention and treatment of respiratory disease caused by: Mycoplasma gallisepticum and M. synoviae.

Dosage & Route of administration:

Route of administration: :orally via feed For whole product: Broiler chicken:For prevention of Mycoplasmosis: 1 kg Tylvalocure / ton of feed for 7 days. For treatment of Mycoplasmosis: 1 kg – 2 kg Tylvalocure / ton of feed for 7 days.

Warning& Precaution:

• It is recommended that Tylvalocure  is first mixed into 10 kg of the feeding stuff, followed by the rest of the feeding stuff and mixed well.

• Medicated feed may then be pelleted. Pelleting conditions involve a single pre-conditioning step with steam for 5 minutes and pelleting at not more than 70 °C under normal conditions.

Contra – Indication:

• Not authorised for use in laying birds producing eggs for human consumption. 

• Not authorised for use in laying birds producing eggs for human consumption. 

• Do not use within 14 days of onset of the laying

Side Effects:

• No signs of intolerance have been observed in growing pigs at up to 10 times the recommended dosage.

• No signs of intolerance have been observed in growing pigs at up to 10 times the recommended dosage.

• No signs of intolerance have been observed in chickens at up to 150 mg tylvalosin per kg bodyweightper day for 5 days.

Withdrawal time:

Broiler chicken: 3 days.

Storage:

Stored at temperature not exceed 30 C˚.
